The group of us which meets regularly for life drawing organized a retreat for intensive focus on our work. Yesterday was the final of five days and here are a few samples of my work from that time.  To see the work of someone else have a look at Anne Jarvis Art blog (in links).

This was done using a 24 inch stick with the end sharpened and dipped in India ink.  To draw the stick was held at arm’s length in an attempt to avoid ‘preciousness’.  The colour is chalk pastel added after – though I think the work could be stronger without the colour.
